I have heard Erie is on its last legs for a while now. So when the Seawolves move out, who is going to move into Erie? I can't imagine the city without baseball. And while I am sure the independent leagues would be tripping over themselves getting in there, I would expect the New York Penn League would like to get back in a city that was one of their top draws at one point. With the Muckdogs being run by the Red Wings, that keeps them in Batavia. But the Oneonta Tigers were just sold, do we see them move to Erie, that would be my guess.
