Check out this site: http://www.jdland.com/dc/stadium.cfm

I came across this last year looking for info and renderings of the new Nats stadium. This guy has a ton of info on not only the progress of the stadium but also the area around it. I especially like the photos/discussion of how the city reconfigured S Capitol St to better fit the new development. It used to raise above street level a block or so before the river to become a bridge. Now it remains at-grade the whole way through and looks MUCH nicer (check out the "Exterior Before and Afters" page for pics, about halfway down). It screams out comparisons to the Skyway and the foot of Main St.
