Buffalo Bandits face desperate playoff push

Take a look at the National Lacrosse League Standings.

Thanks to their embarrassing loss last night at Rochester, the Buffalo Bandits find themselves in a tightly wound race for one of four playoff berths, with two weeks remaining in the regular season.

The good news is that the Bandits play their last two games at home, this Saturday against the Chicago Shamrox, then the following Saturday they finish up against the Portland Lumberjax. Both teams have a losing record but are still also alive for a playoff seed.

The Bandits control their own destiny - win and they’re in. If they stumble, then they will need help, as they are on the losing end of tiebreakers with both Rochester and Toronto.

For scoreboard watchers, here are the other games worth paying attention to:

    Philadelphia
